How SunBuddy Works

SunBuddy - Back Lotion Applicator

Step 1 - unfold and open to 135 degrees.

Unfold the SunBuddy from its closed position to open it to its maximum 135 degrees.

Step 2 - extend handle to desired length.

Grab the bottom handle and extend outward to one of the auto-locking lengths,
up to an extra 4.5 inches. Slide inward to retract the bottom handle.

Step 3 - apply sunscreen to the pad.

Place a quarter-sized amount of sunscreen to the pad.
Reapply sunscreen to the pad as needed.

Step 4 - apply to your sides & lower back.

Hold the SunBuddy under your arm by either the rubber grips on the top or bottom handle.

Move the SunBuddy across your back while keeping the entire surface area of the pad in contact with your skin so that your skin absorbs the sunscreen. Always apply generous amounts of sunscreen.

Step 5 - apply to your mid & upper back.

With either hand, hold the SunBuddy by its bottom handle and slowly reach over your shoulders.

Move the SunBuddy in an up and down motion while keeping the entire surface area of the pad in contact with your skin so that your skin absorbs the sunscreen. Always apply generous amounts of sunscreen. Repeat steps 2, 3, 4 and 5 as necessary.

Step 6 - quick release & rinse pad.

Quick release the pad using your finger to unlock its securing trim piece.
Then rinse the pad with warm water and soap. Allow the pad to fully dry before reusing.

When not in use, store the SunBuddy in its included pouch.
